As our Senior Product Manager, Kim manages all aspects of TransLoc Fixed Route. She meets with customers, goes on in-site visits, and works directly with Product Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Support to ensure we are producing a product that is not only what the market needs now, but also what it can and should be in the future.
Kim has been in the transit industry, and also with TransLoc, for twelve years, so she’s seen and experienced many different trends in the market and interacted with people from all areas of transit. She has always been a problem solver, so she really enjoys digging into the issues that affect our market and then coming up with innovative ways to overcome these challenges. Kim says that she is making sure the future of TransLoc Fixed Route is data driven and software supported to elevate the experience for the riders, dispatchers, drivers, and operators.
“Making TransLoc’s Fixed Route solution the leader in our market gets me excited to come to work each day.”
Prior to coming to TransLoc, Kim owned several businesses including software training, graphic design, photography, and she even was the owner of a marathon race circuit for more than ten years. Outside of work, she loves volunteering and helping put on events, both of which help her feel grounded. One thing that shocks most people when they meet Kim is that she lives on a small ranch/farm in Northern Utah where she and her family breed and raise cattle and lambs and produce their own alfalfa and grain. She says, “I never thought I would be ‘Farmer Kim’ but here we are!”
