Awarded Alongside Tesla, Facebook, Google and Walt Disney Company.

Durham, N.C., January 30, 2020 – Today TransLoc, a Ford Mobility company*, has been named one of the 2020 Best Workplaces for Commuters. TransLoc was recognized for providing an array of commuter benefits to employees which decreases the number of single occupancy vehicles on the roads and creates a positive environmental impact.

“Being nationally recognized as one of the 2020 Best Workplaces for Commuters signals how serious we are about our employees and our environmental stewardship,” said Kevin Fowler, Vice President of Finance at TransLoc. “We are major proponents of transit agencies and support their good work at every opportunity.”

TransLoc is among a select group of workplaces in the United States that have achieved the Best Workplaces for Commuters National Standard of Excellence by providing commuter benefits that resulted in at least 14 percent of their employee base not driving alone to work within a 12-month period.

“TransLoc is one of the top employers in the nation offering high level commuter benefits to their employees,” said Julie Bond, Program Manager of Best Workplaces for Commuters. “They made the list because they offer transportation choices that include telework, free transit fares, and access to Emergency Ride Home programs.
