TransLoc announces strategic partnerships

Partnerships build on TransLoc’s industry-leading technology to support demand in municipal and hospitality transportation.

DURHAM, N.C., November 8, 2020 – Changing demands related to the pandemic and transportation access have prompted TransLoc, a Ford Mobility company*, to expand its comprehensive solution offering through new strategic partnerships that serve existing and new customers. Partnering with innovative transit brands, TransLoc will better anticipate rider needs and support transit agencies serving cities, universities, and business campuses everywhere. This move represents TransLoc’s commitment to continuing to champion and support the success of its transit customers across the globe.

TransLoc’s newly established relationships include:

  • LAZ Parking, the fastest growing and second largest parking and transportation company in the US and long-time provider of airport, municipal, university, and corporate transportation programs with a client retention rate above 90%, will give TransLoc clients seeking demand-response services access to vehicles, a win for clients who cannot easily provide additional vehicles for on-demand services.
  • Uniguest, a global leader in highly-secure engagement technology solutions, provides an all-in-one platform of visual and interactive displays, creating a superior guest experience that includes transit route information displayed on monitors in hotels, allowing guests and riders to stay informed of arrival and departure times through easy and convenient displays within the hotel.
  • Optibus, a cutting-edge software platform, is a leader in systems scheduling, route optimization, timetables, and vehicle scheduling. Optibus extends TransLoc’s seamless transit operations experience into the planning and scheduling space, which through a robust combination of artificial intelligence, advanced algorithms, and cloud computing, allows for end-to-end monitoring and whole-system insights.
  • Ecolane, transit scheduling software created by transit people for transit people, offers powerful continuous real-time optimization in scheduling and routing software. Ecolane works by breaking down silos in organizations and increases efficiencies to increase productivity. Ecolane offers paratransit, on-demand, fixed-route and brokerage model solutions to fit all agencies. By partnering with Ecolane, TransLoc becomes one of only a handful of transit solutions providers to offer fixed route, on-demand, and paratransit solutions.

“Each of these partnerships brings with them years of industry experience and remarkable innovation. As leaders in their respective mobility niches, they add to TransLoc’s already powerful and substantial portfolio of mobility solutions and products, creating a one-stop-shop for agencies,” said Ron Cygnarowicz, TransLoc’s vice president of sales and clients. “By strengthening our partnerships, we are taking significant strides toward making public transportation more efficient and accessible and achieving our mission of empowering the freedom of movement for all.”
