The microtransit solution is a flexible demand-response system designed to simplify the transit experience with on-demand dispatching and real-time rider communications and tracking.
Rice University in Houston, Texas, has worked with TransLoc since March to provide convenient transportation options for its 10,000 students and faculty members. In need of a feature-robust system on campus, the university implemented TransLoc’s OnDemand for a more comprehensive and easy-to-use rider experience. OnDemand enhances Rice’s Night Escort program by helping admins track their fleet more accurately, ultimately creating a safer campus environment.
